Issy Hunter

As a BACP registered integrative therapist, I provide a warm and supportive space where we’ll make sense of, and work through, the challenges you’re facing together.

For many of us, there are times when we feel overwhelmed, stuck or lost in emotions that are too heavy to handle alone. I support people to tune into themselves, facilitating a process of self-exploration that allows emotions to be safely met and understood. I’m curious about all the different parts of you: the parts that take over, the parts that are tucked away or silenced, and importantly, hose they relate to each other. By making space to get to know each of them, how they came to be and how they show up in your life today, we can find new ways for them to collaborate more harmoniously, easing inner conflict and creating flexibility, self-compassion and choice moving forwards.

Areas of Interest

No single approach suits everyone, so I’ll shape our sessions around what’s most helpful for you. This can include exploring the past events and relationships that have shaped how you experience the world in the present, using the body as a tool to understand and process emotions exploring your inner world through visualisations and parts-work and looking at the patterns that developed to protect you, but may now be holding you back.
